| Anyone have any views on synthetic corks. Had my old ones replaced because of fungal taint. The plastic ones are falling out. Can't support the weight of the bottle as well as looking horrible. I pulled on one after inserting a hook and it comes out at 700grams tug. |

| I have never had a problem with modern corks only with older bottles with old corks which broke up up. |
