If like me you have been unable to access the Ardbeg website to buy the new Committee bottling Ardbeg Rollercoaster then i thought i would start a thread where you can suggest alternative whiskies which you could buy for the equivalent price which is £110 for 2 bottles of Rollercoaster including postage.

So what else could i get for my money?

Hi Mark, this is a good idea as it may throw up some bottlings i havent considered.

I just had a look in The Whisky Exchange and 2 bottles i was thinking of are

Adelphi Bunnahabhain 1997 11 Year old which is heavily peated £49.94 tasted this last year and always meant to get a bottle.

Glenmorangie Sonnalta PX £58.99 not had the pleasure of this yet but it got the Best Scotch New Brand in the 2010 whisky bible.

I know the postage takes it a couple of pound over the £110 but at least i wouldnt have to put up with the website crashing while trying to order, lol

Talisker 25 year old - just seen it in the special offers section of TWE for £110

I also fancied the red wine finish Linkwood TWE has on offer, anyone had it?

Its £60 for the Highland Park 18 in my local Tesco so i usually add it to an online order when my bottle gets low, even then i pay around £55.
