I found in a book writing about late 18th century recipe , %50 linseed oil mixed with %50 peated Islay Whisky. Book was peat and whisky , unbreakable bond, and it wrote the recipe without mentioning how it looks strange. Did you taste or hear such a mixture ? Is linseed oil drinkable ? Or is it a medicine for example skin or guts etc ?

Thank you,
