Not very often that an Ardbeg new release doesn't provoke a discussion on here.
Anybody go for it?
Personally I didn't. Had a quick look at the initial email but couldn't establish if it was a Committee bottling for members only initially.
Had to go out so missed the 10am launch. Not too fussed.

I dont think it was a special high strength committee bottling, bottled at the standard 46% as far as i could make out, just committee members getting early access to it i think. I couldnt get logged in, got a message to change my password, done this but still couldnt log in. I was in two minds anyway, standard 46%, who knows how many bottles available and £141 plus postage for a 13 year old.

Yes, I think you're right.
I always have issues logging into Ardbeg account. Tried to access it this morning and as usual password not recognised. Can't be ar*** with the faffing around with Ardbeg account access. Got my eye on other bottles so the money "saved" will go towards them.

I am pretty sure it aint a special Ardbeg Committee bottling, I gave it a miss also, the price is too big an ask for what it is IMO.

No doubt I'd enjoy it. But the price is ... well. Pricing gone mad?

I see they still have heavy vapours left.

I did enjoy their bizarrebeque, and the pricing wasnt too bad on that one, so I thought they were redeeming themselves... Maybe not...
