| I collect whisky, only got about 130 bottles but I did have 2 signets and was keeping one for a special occasion and the other to keep, anyway, xmas eve seemed a special enough occasion ( any excuse ) and over 4 days I started and finished the bottle, my first sip I was a little underwhelmed but soon found what the fuss was all about and loved it, and when the last sip was had I've had to restrain myself since from opening the bottle I plan to keep for my collection, no I've not tasted anything similar, anyone out there got a suggestion as if only I had a spare £120 each week I'd have a bottle on repeat order lol |

Actually, I'm a fan of the Signet as well. I had a great chat with Dr. Bill Lumsden from Glenmorangie, the originator of the Signet. We met in Toronto as I was doing a whisky article at a whisky venue at the time. It is quite a unique whisky and frankly, I have not tasted anything exactly like it. Malts that exude layers and layers of different kinds of chocolate, thick and meaty are good candidates to at least try and compare to the Signet. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
