This would be fine if it cost £40-£50 but at anywhere between £100-£120 this is a poor quality taste experience, though nowhere near the absurdly priced 25 year OB which is an affront to anyone who knows the value of whisky.

Nose

This has a quite a strong dry grass note followed, stewed apple mixed with pear, apricot and a little orange zest.
The grassy note fades leaving the fruit compote behind which reminds me of Heinz baby food.

Taste
84
This is certainly strong enough at 46%, there is honey, white pepper, a little faint ginger spice with plum and apple.

Finish
83
Finish is ok, with a lingering spice note
