Hi, could anyone tell me if this bottle would be worth collecting as an investment for the future. It's a bottle of CAOL ILA 2005-2019 - 14 YEAR OLD - CONNOISSEURS CHOICE. Tia, Steve.

No to investment, Is that at £90 or so?

Buy it if you like Caol Ila, open it and drink it.

Is it numbered as only x hundred bottles made? If you like caol ila why not buy two? Put one in the cabinet to drink and put the other under the stairs out the way for 20 years. Revisit it in 20 years if it doesn't seem to have appreciated in value either leave it there another decade or drink it. As long as you can keep it closed, upright and a steady temperature it's unlikely to become undrinkable as I understand it.

if you want to discuss whisky and even rum investment be it bottles, casks or other opportunities you'd be best off joining this FB group.
