| I think Asda have got arestone sea cask and land cask for £20 and for a 40% whisky they are well worth the price especially the land cask |

| For £20 there isn't a big choice, I would second ralfys Aerstone recommendation. I would add if you are not sure if the recipient likes peated smoky whisky then choose the Aerstone Sea Cask as the Land Cask is peated. |

| You cant go wrong with the Glenmorangie Original 10 year old or Cardhu Gold both very good whiskies.that any whisky drinker should enjoy. |

i think Glenmorangie 10 is a good shout but probaby more than £25.
something that is regularly around the £20 mark is Shackleton blended malt, no burn just an easy sipper, i really like it.
this is what it looks like

pay no attention to the £35 price as it is very often sold for £20 in tesco and the co op and waitrose has had it at £20-£22 also. _________________ Pour me a glass please. |

| I think tesco have highland park 12 for £25 at the moment if you have a clubcard (just download the app and scan it). Its a lovely every day whisky. |

it would compare ok, but i have not tried the 12 year double cask since 2016 and scored it 81 points, i would score the Glenmorangie 10 higher, it's quality is pretty consistant.
in my polite view and not wishing to upset anyone don`t bother with highalnd park 12 year viking pride because at the moment the batch variation is massive and the last one i had was one of the worst whisky i have had in years. _________________ Pour me a glass please. |
