Hi all
Any Balblair afficionados out there?
I'm trying to understand their methodology for naming and numbering their releases.
For example I've seen;
Balblair 90, 2nd edition
Balblair 91, 3rd edition
Balblair 97, 2nd edition
Balblair 99, 2nd edition
Balblair 03, 1st edition
Balblair 04, 1st edition
I guess there are more but these are just some I've seen.
Anyone know how the system works?
Many thanks. |

I'm fairly sure that all of the editions are just the order they are released.
i.e. 2004 first release will be laid down in 2004 and is the first from that 'vintage'.
Third release will be laid down in 2004 although the 3rd bottling from that year, older than the others.
They've stopped doing it though. |
