Hi, I thought I would purchase a bottle of this year's Cairdeas. Registered as a friend and it was £65 I thought fair enough, but it said this is the price for the US. I changed it to the UK and it suddenly became £90.

I suddenly felt ripped off and confused. Am I doing something wrong, or are charged more for a product in the UK from the UK?

Utter madness if so. Shocked

Taxes maybe? The US import will be slapped with a 40% tariff once it hits its shores?

Fair enough. Does mean they sell them so much cheaper to them to remain competitive. That's business survival I suppose.

Laphroaig bottles I think are all shipped from Germany (might be Netherlands) which is mad. Everything was priced in Euros for a while and they wouldn't change it.
Personal opinion is that Laphroaig are totally useless when I comes to anything online.

Their site is truly awful. I think laphroaig is also generally cheaper in the US, is't the 10 Year Old bottled at higher ABV there as well?
