Was keeping an eye out on some bottles on whiskyauctioneer tonight, and the site is taken down again at auction end. Did they get hacked again?

Dunno, was on and off in to the night. Was going ok until 9m-ish.
Previous form has been to extend the auction.

** EDIT: Two minutes after writing this reply I get an email from WA saying I've won items. Question

Website has a notice saying :

"During the November Auction closing process there were some technical issues affecting the site. We apologise to those who may have experienced difficulty accessing the site during auction closing."

It's becoming too common on the WA site Sad

They do need to upgrade their website set up as it clearly cant handle the traffic it is receiving, I am sure some sellers must have lost out.

Been a poor experience with them lately, last 6 months I have seen many issues such as these

Hmmm had the same this month with Just whisky but to be fair they did extend the auction. I have noticed over the year that for some reason prices for selling seem to be better on Whisky Auctioneer like for like. I mainly use Just Whisky but keep saying I'm going to switch but never do.

I won a bit more than I bargained for. I was expecting to win about 3 bottles and won 8
Expensive month. Personally I think the website went down and they made out it had closed. Rubbish. I can't remember last time the auction ended much before midnight, then we are expected to believe it closed at 9pm and coincidentally crashed at the same time?
