Three years on since the first batch anCnoc has released anCnoc Peatheart Batch 2, it has no age statement but I am told it is around 14 years old, the peat is tamer on the nose than anticipated given the headlined 40ppm but it is a peaty delight on the palate where its Peatheart beats away wonderfully.

| I do enjoy these peaty anCnocs also, I am surprised they don't get more press, perhaps they have just priced themselves a wee bit high in comparison to the excellent selection of peated Islay whiskies you can get for around £10 - £20 less. |
