|
|
Tobermory Distillery today announced the addition of a new Tobermory 23 Year Old Oloroso Cask Finish to their core range of whiskies.
Those of you who recall the outstanding Tobermory 15 Year Old limited release which is now long gone may be interested to know that the new Tobermory 23 Year Old is actually the 15 Year Old 8 years on.
Instead of a 1 year finish in First Fill Gonzales Byass Oloroso Sherry casks like the 15 year old the 23 year old has been finished for 9 years, you will need deep pockets if you want to taste it though.

| Would love to have a bottle but at £300 this is way overpriced. Easy pass. |

| I had a couple of bottles of the Tobermory 15 and it was excellent, I would have loved to have tried this also but too rich for me. |

| Sadly double what would be a more reasonable price. |
