Good evening all,
Hope everyone is well. I have been looking at various whiskies this past few weeks and I can see some of them state the numbers of bottles made. Is this something that a lot of you look for when buying a whisky to keep? |

Not necessarily. I do think it can help when it comes to collecting/investing in whisky, but there is no guarantee that it will add value.
On the other hand, some whiskies do not need to state the number of bottles as the distilleries know that they will be successful regardless. Macallan being the main culprit here! So I would say it is definitely nice to have, but not always needed. |
