I had a splendid evening with 12 people online last night , a subset of Canadians like myself who traveled to Scotland for 2 weeks on a whisky tour in June 2019.

We had 4 single malts last evening:

SMWS Code 41.99 Dailuaine " A Breath of Fresh Air" at 58.1% ABV.

Springbank 15 Rum Wood at 51% ABV.

Aberlour A'bundah Batch #66 59.2% ABV.

Jack Wiebers Classic of Islay 55.7% ABV. (which I felt was a delicious Lagavulin)

Cheers,
Murray

Murray I have had a wee sample of the Jack Wiebers Classic of Islay, I thought it was possibly a young and very good Lagavulin.

How was the Aberlour A'bundah, you don't hear much about it these days since they ramped the price up way beyond what its age and quality qualified the whisky to be, it used to be a regular for me and I am sure a few others on here.

Thanks for the question. Batch 66 is the latest one and a particularly excellent sherry bomb whisky. It currently costs about $100 Canadian here in Ontario, Canada which is just under 58 British pounds equivalent. I believe it is more expensive in UK.
