Old Pulteney Launch WK499 Isabella Fortuna

Inver House Distillers has launched a limited-edition variant of Old Pulteney Scotch whisky named "WK499 Isabella Fortuna" exclusively for travel retailers.


Old Pulteney "WK499 Isabella Fortuna" single malt Scotch whisky will be launched and sold exclusively at £32.99 in selected World Duty Free and World of Whiskies stores in the UK before wider European distribution with selected operators from April 2010.

The whisky is bottled in 100cl at cask strength, 52%abv. It is named after the last remaining drifter boat in Wick Harbour in the North of Scotland, the Isabella Fortuna, registered as WK499.

William i assume this is a young no age statement whisky, still be interesting to try especially with the higher 52% abv.
