| A friend of mines likes his Glenlivet 12, I told him of the revamp so he compared the new and old and has told me the new tastes different and not as good! Can anybody agree with him or was he just having a bad day hehe, |

your friend is right the tasting notes sound like its similar to the old twelve year old but its not as good but is okay
its better than the founders reserve which isnt diffacult |

| Right over the last 5 months I’ve done a few tests on this and at first I thought yes it’s a ok change but you gotta be kidding me, this ain’t as good as it was 5 years ago, there’s less fruity apples, less freshness, it’s more malty it’s more marzipan notes , no worries about the marzipan for me but it’s not the same fruity apples ðŸ n pears it used to be. |

yeah i used to like the fragrant nose and as you said pears and apples used to drink it every saturday night in my local now closed down many years ago kept a few bottles back myself
but near the end of the old 12 year old it got a bit patchy
the new stuff is okay bring back the old 12 year old |
