|
|
Hi all,
I'm quite often flicking through whisky posts on Instagram and there's pictures of some incredible bottles of Chichibu and otherJapanese delights. Which lead me to the question of apart from the usual secondary markets how do these people end up with these bottles and where do they get them from?
I quite often check the usual websites master of malt and whisky exchange but don't see any limited releases too often. I know Dekanta have lots of interesting bottles but the prices are simply astronomical!
Can anyone help me out, where can I get any Chichibu single casks or other Japanese bottlings without breaking the bank on the secondary market.
Thanks for your tips and advice in advance. Looking forward to hopefully savouring one of these bottles soon. |

| You and most folk unfortunately. I’ve tried a few of their drams including the one they released for the ‘sexy fish bar’ in London. There are lotteries on whisky exchange and a few other online spots, it’s probably just the luck the draw. Happy hunting, mate. |

| La Maison Du Whisky released the 'Chichibu Paris Edition' online on Friday (I know it was also available at the Paris Whisky Show) and sent an email out prior to release, I was lucky enough to purchase as it sold out super quick, with UK delivery it cost €239 in total and although ordered around 11am Friday it was delivered DHL at 8.50 am Monday morning. |
