Really interesting that we're starting to see Amazon Exclusives now but I don't see how it would be possible to get a taste first unles they start selling samples?
£89 feels like quite a price if you compare it to Lagavulin 16. |

And yet it's good value compared to the now sold out Laphroaig 15yr 200th Anniversary which was a lovely dram.

We didn't see the previous Bowmore 19yr on offer? Although we did see it become non-exclusive...

It is pricey compared to other malts, yes. However, given the recent prices of the 18, in terms of aged Laphroaig it seems 'fair'.
Plus this is at 48% as opposed to 43 like Laga 16. |

I posted an announcement here http://www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/laphroaig16yearold.htm about the new expression. It will be a limited release of 11,500 bottles available from Amazon here in the UK and Europe and some selected retailers in the US
