| As an ex smoker I'm always intrigued when a whisky is described as having tobacco notes, and I'm drawn to these. Any recommendations for tobacco flavoured whisky appreciated the stronger the better. |

| I have found that older sherried or older peaty whiskies are where I tend to find the more pronounced stale cigar box tobacco notes lurking, but I wouldn't exactly call any a tobacco flavoured whisky but tobacco is certainly one of the nuances found in certain whiskies. |

| I often find heavier tobacco notes in big sherried whiskies both young and old, usually whiskies fully matured in first fill sherry casks. |

| I recommend Edradour 12 Caledonia, it used to be £50 back in the days. Very peculiar dram with a fairly strong tobacco note. |

| It's not a high quality whiskey but Jim Beam Devil's Cut is extremely oaky with heavy tobacco notes imo. |
