Hi Everyone,
Been here almost 2 weeks touring the country and it’s distilleries. I’ve been to about 15 so far. Going to SMWS this afternoon. I especially enjoyed my stay on Islay and Inverness. Knockdu distillery is an absolute gem and the master distiller Gordon Bruce, a true gentleman and scholar. I had the privilege as well as having supper with Jim McEwan and his wife on Islay.
Just wanted to check in with you all.
Cheers

James, I picked up a bottle of Caol ILA 22 year Feis Ils at 58.4%abv. that I especially liked.
Cheers

Hi Fergie. Yes indeed, I had many brilliant drams over the course of almost 2 weeks now. Some of them were at tastings at distilleries and I had one excellent night at the Pot Still pub in Glasgow. I had 5 special drams at Bruichladdie including an 18 year single cask which I really enjoyed and a 27 year finished in French red wine cask also there. When I get back to Canada, I’ll report more.
Cheers
