Douglas Laing this week unveiled a brand extension to its Xtra Old Particular Single Cask Scotch Whisky range: XOP The Black Series which launches with an ex-Sherry hogshead, distilled at the Springbank Distillery in 1994.

| The prices of single casks of Springbank are astronomical.. it’s not surprising that something like this is commanding such an RRP.. this will vanish quickly |
