Hi All,
First time poster here but was hoping you could provide me with a little advise.
I have only recently been getting into whiskeys and have been more floating around the £40-50 mark so my knowledge on higher end stuff is limited to none.
I am looking for a 60th present for my Dad. I have been getting him a few over the last couple of years around the £70-80 mark but due to the milestone birthday thought I would splash out a little bit and up the budget.
I have previously got him a range of Auchentoshan's and most recently a Glenfarclas 18 which he absolutely loved.
Any tips or advice on what would be a worthy purchase for this milestone birthday would me hugely appreciated!
Thank you!
Tom |

| Glenmorangie Signet has £18 off at master of malt today. Tastes great and looks the part as a gift |

Slightly over your budget, Master of Malt has a excellent Mackillop's Choice Mortlach 23 year 0ld 1991 Single Cask 5887 for £208
Another slightly cheaper is the Glenfarclas 25 year old |

How about Redbreast 21 year Irish whisky, the latest batches have had some really good reviews, £155 at the moment at Milroy`s of soho.
or Glendronach 21 year Parlaiment, much better than the 18 year Allardice and is roughly £110, if your father likes sherried whisky this is a nice one for the money.
A cheaper alternative would be Glenmorangie 18 year at around £80 ish? _________________ Pour me a glass please. |

| You can still pick up a Balblair 1991 3rd release from TheWhiskyExchange for £160. Wont be around for much longer, quite sherry lead and a damn good whisky. |

Thank you very much for all the replys!
Really appreciate the support,
I have decided to pick up one of the Glenmorangie Signets (thanks for the £18 off tip as well) and a Glenfarclas 25 which was also recomended just due to him loving the 18 so much
I will let you know next month if they have been a hit or not
Thanks again! |
