I have had a few, the Islay would be my choice as the best of the Glen Marnoch range but for the money I couldn't fault any off the range. |

Look out for some special edition Glen Marnock bottlings around christmas time, often 20 plus year old for around £50 |

Yes the other styles are speyside and highland but I've not tried them yet. Just over £17 a bottle does represent v good value. |

Nothing wrong with there nas whiskies, I’ve been there and said the same so enjoy,, my fav ov the 3 was speyside nas , it took time but hey ho, so yes come November special whisky to be tried with aged statement ,last year 30 yrs, was it good ? I enjoyed, how good? Wasn’t super but at £49.99! And 30 yrs old it was for sure a go for whisky, to be fair it was ok , a higher % would be better |

I like the Speyside as a good starter. Try adding some cask strength Benriach or Benromach. Its quite good. |

Griffiin79, if you enjoyed the aldi &17.49 whiskies then you need to try the Lidl’s 3, I can’t decide which i like best the speyside or highland , both drinkable. |

I was looking forward to trying the Glen Marnoch 30 year old (sells her in Australia from Aldi for $99) but missed out as they sold fast.
Only one I have tried is their NAS wood finishes which came in a 3 x50ml set and tbh had to give them away as i found them overly woody for my tastes. I would assume the higher aged whisky to be a lot better, currently a 25 year old for $90 available in Australia which I will buy. |
