Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

I have the opportunity to purchase 3 bottles of a 1973 vintage Macallan, I believe bottled in either 2014 or 2015. Some of these independent bottles are hard to find info for. I'm wondering if this is a deal @ $1000 USD per bottle or if I should pass. I do like Macallan a lot and have wanted a 40+ year for awhile.

Thanks for any info on this!

I have had a few bottles of Gordon & Macphail Speymalt Macallan in the past and have been happy with them, the 1973 bottled 2015 was a little less sherried than I would have wanted but still a good expression of the Macallan and $1000 probably isn't over the top for a Macallan of this age in todays market.
