Don't know if it has already been done but thought it would be interesting to see what is your favourite non Scottish distillery (drinking only, not investing!!!) and what are your favorite whiskies.
I am really into Mackmyra at the moment, they have released some really intriguing expressions, quite different in their approach, currently drinking
Blomsterstid
Vinterglod
First edition

Millstone

They have a great profile that runs through all their whiskies. The 100 Rye and their 12 year Sherry Cask are terrific value (at european prices).

Interesting question and one that I expect will give a vast variety of answers.. For me I like drinking the following..
Paul John ( Indian)
Zuidam distillery (Holland)
Starward ( Australian)
There are probably many others but these are my most obvious ones..?

To be honest I can probably count the number of non-Scotch whiskies I've had in one hand! Of those, my favourite has been the Hakushu 12, but of course good Japanese whiskies (with the exception of Nikka, which is not a distillery anyway) are impossible to afford these days.

I'd have to go with:

Yoichi (alas days of actually buying any are long gone)
Four Roses
Buffalo Trace (cop-out I know, but who doesn't love a George T Stagg)

If we're talking further afield, going beyond whisky and talking about our favorite other "distilleries" then it's impossible not to include the following 2 rum distilleries, the first being probably the best distillery in the world at the moment (across all spirits, Scotch included Embarassed ):

Foursquare (Barbados)
Hampden (Jamaica)

The Hakusha 12 is a great drink as well, I was lucky enough to buy 4 or 5 when it was £60-70 a bottle, I was in my local whisky shop today and was speaking to the owner who reckons the prices may drop off a bit in the next couple of years (fingers crossed).

Other than Scotch I would drink Redbreast, Four Roses and the occasional Bulleit Rye

Kavalan by a significant margin. Then Amrut, PJ and Hakushu.

I’ve always looked forwards to and enjoyed Kavalan, English Whisky Company and Amrut releases.

Although I’d also echo that my favourite distillery is Foursquare also.

It seems that Amrut, Redbreast and Kavalan are a popular choice. I have only tried a redbreast 12 and King car conductor so far and been impressed with both.

From Kavalan, I've only had one of their Solist releases and I wasn't impressed at all. Only one bottle (and tried on one occasion) is not representative of course, it's just that I haven't had the opportunity to try more.
