|
|
| My dad has a bottle of The Macallan Fine Oak Triple Cask Matured Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey that came in a blue presentation box with a soft cloth (velvet?) cushion liner. We are trying to determine the vatting and bottling year. The inside of the front label has the code L0351K L10 12:05 10:50 so I think it was vatted in 1981 and bottled in 2011 on May 12th at 10:05 in the morning, can anyone help me confirm this? He has had this bottle since 2012 and it was left to him by a friend, he doesn't drink scotch so we are trying to determine its value and google searches range from $1,000 to over $10,000 and we can't tell why the huge range. |
