I have a bottle of 81 year old Springbank it is 75cl in size and 46% vol, can any one tell me if this whisky has much of a value to it as i can find out any thing about this bottle.
Can you tell us what exactly it says on the label and if you have a picture of it that would be great. As far as being 81 years old, whisky stops ageing the day it is taken out the barrel and is put into the bottle. I am sure your whisky cannot be 81 years old as it wouldnt have an alcohol level of 46%abv after 81 years. In fact UK bottles have only stated the alcohol level as %ABV (Alcohol by volume) since 1980.
