Is it out? If so I’ll post some brief notes tomorrow after I swing by Lidl. |

Hi all, I think only some LIDL shops have put it out on their shelves but it is certainly worth asking the staff. _________________ Love of Whisk(e)y and Other Quality Spirits |

| Think it’s oaks casks, got one today, I’ve quite enjoyed it , fairly fruity and I’m thinking a bit more powerful than Aldi version, which is better ooomm, tough call, maybe Lidl |

Gents, I have a hunch about the origin of this malt. Here is my guess:
LIDL have released a 23 year old blend in Germany which has been produced by Whyte and Mackay so I would guess that they bottled some of the malt as a single malt Ben Bracken 23YO for the UK market.
I know that you may want to ask: how I know about W&M? The answer is: W&M entered the 23yo Glen Alba into a competition where it won a gold medal.

| Since Ben Bracken first appeared on the shelves in Lidl supermarkets quite a few years ago now it was considered to have originated from the Whyte & Mackay owned Tamnavulin distillery |

| The Whyte & Mackay HQ postcode appears (or used to) on Lidl's bottles. Bit of a giveaway lol. |
