I just about 'get' a ballot for a "Macallan 40yo" or a "Karuizawa 35yo".

But for one of 5,000 bottles of 3yo from an unproven distillery ?????

note they are 500ml bottles.

Ballot entered, decision to buy will be made later. Not a fan of 500ml bottles which is putting me off.

3 year old, 500ml whisky for £100. And there is 5000 in circulation.

Friday evening in thought over a dram or two of a 12 year old, 58.9%, 500ml GlenAllachie Speyside Fstival 2018 limited to 1028 bottles, signed by the Master Distiller himself, costing £54ish...
Going to let this 1770 one pass, will keep eye on flippers at auction.

So many new distilleries pushing to make a quick buck..... better off a share in GlenWyvis or your own cask from Borders if you want to support new ventures, I would suggest.

I see these have all sold. I decided against my ballot win. Just too expensive at £100, not a fan of 500ml bottles either and no packaging designs, made my decision straight forward.

Fair play to them, marketting was good, even my inlaws had heard about it and they are only interseted as they have a son in law with an interest... the pitch for Glasgow would have had a wide audience.
