I just received an email from Robert Ranson of Glenfarclas to tell me that Glenfarclas 30 Years Old has been named the best available Malt Whisky in Australia, for the second time. I have posted the full press release here:

I must say i do like the Glenfarclas 30 year old myself, a lovely complex spiced fruit cake dram and the great thing about it is the price. The Whisky Exchange sell this at £115 at the moment, not bad for a quality 30 year old whisky.

I always think of this as a christmas dram as the first bottle i got was at christmas and as you say will a good price for a 30 year old.
