Popped in to Tesco before and very surprised to see lots of shiny new bottles of Allt-A-Bhainne on the shelf.

It's a NAS bottled at 40% and priced at £37.

Has anyone given it a go yet?

I spotted it in Tesco online https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/301745948 probably quite young I would guess but good to see it available, no doubt we will see it with money off at some point.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It seems Tesco have revamped their whole alcohol offering as there were a lot of different gins and rums available, as well as some interesting beers. Presumably getting ready for Christmas.

I'd suspect in the run up we'll see a £10-15 off offer, which will be when I pick it up.

I added a piece on the new Allt-A-Bhainne single malt whisky here:

http://www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/alltabhainesweetlypeated.htm

I haven't tasted it myself so I cant comment on its quality or level of peatiness, it is probably young but perhaps the young peaty single malt which to my knowledge has only been produced at Allt-A-Bhainne in recent years has been skilfully blended with older unpeated Allt-A-Bhainne. Great to see an official bottling and hopefully more to come.

I see that Master of Malt now have it in stock https://www.masterofmalt.com/distilleries/allt-a-bhainne-whisky-distillery/

Someone has given the new Allt a Bhainne a 1/5 negative review on MoM but it looks like they haven't tasted it and they are simply having a moan, I don't agree with reviews being removed but reviews from people who haven't tasted a whisky should not be listed.

Like others I will likely give it a try when it goes on offer as that is the whisky selling game now, like most things now I suppose.
