Just as summer is drawing to a close once again those festive folks at Douglas Laing today unveiled the latest instalment of their Big Peat Christmas Series of deliciously peaty Islay blended malts.



The Big Peat Christmas 2018 Cask Strength Limited Edition which is the 8th annual release should be starting to appear on the shelves of specialist whisky shops from this month and should be available in the usual outlets such as Master of Malt

They do like to get these in the shops early, no doubt I will pick up a bottle, it is great to pour for visitors at Christmas and it is a good whisky.

The Christmassy packaging alone must shift a few of these bottles every year, but I agree it is a good whisky.
