Interesting, could be a good series if Douglas Laing have picked the bottlings out as being special and I do fancy this Ledaig 21 first release in the series.

Reminds me of their strictly limited trio of Director's Cut bottles released for internet sales only in 2017 (Director's Cut had been discontinued by this date, but exclusively DL opted for a rare trio release) Limited to very few number of bottles. Carefully selected by the 3 owners, Cara, Chris and Fred and all hand signed.

https://www.douglaslaing.com/directors-cut-laphroaig-16-years-old

Cara had selected 17yo Inchgower (only 27 bottles)
Chris selected 22yo Longmorn (only 66 bottles)
Fred completed the trio with 16yo Laphroaig (60 bottles)

Great idea on the news of the Private Stock, they could lead this as a range replacing Directors Cut as opposed to a series.. will be interesting to see...

It is certainly of interest, I am not a big Ledaig fan but I will look forward to seeing what will follow in the Private Stock series

I do enjoy Ledaig, in fact I have a bottle of the Ledaig 10 which I have been enjoying recently but unfortunately this Ledaig Private Stock wont be available to me.

Has anyone managed to get this? I haven't even bothered trying at 9 as I perfectly knew scalpers would blow their servers up, I'm giving it a go now but it's still a 404-fest. The few times I managed to load a text-only version of the website, there was no mention of this Ledaig 21.

I do wish they would do these types of launches at the weekend or in the evening, I hope it turns out to be a good one those of you that managed to get hold of a bottle.

The big question is why so few bottles. Are they simply selecting leaking casks before they contain nothing.
