Glenmorangie Distillery Expansion Begins

In a move to increase capacity inline with the ever increasing demand from whisky drinkers around the world Glenmorangie today broke ground on a new still house which will be part of a multi-million-pound expansion by the Highland distillery.

It has been quite some time since they last increased production at Glenmorangie from what I recall from visiting.

Kava, Glenmorangie doubled the number of stills from 4 to 8 back in 1990 then another expansion in 2008 saw the number of stills go up to 12, 6 wash and 6 spirit, this latest expansion will see the number of stills go up to 14.
