Ballantine's Scotch Whisky Unknown Age

Hello i have found in an villa basement in Milan an old looking bottle of Whisky Scotch Ballantine's. I would like to know the age of the bottle if anyone has a bit of experience and would give my some sort of estimation or way to find out it would be very helpful. I was thinking of selling it, so advice would be nice! Here are the pictures. [/url]

Pretty sure that is a 1970s bottling. 60s and earlier would probably read 'proof' and layer bottles %
