I recently finished reading this captivating book edited by Allhoff and Marcus Adams with contributions by 20 contributors. The book contains a wide range of topics associated with whisky, lots about whisky and Scotland and intersects primarily whisky culture with theoretical philosophical topics and interludes including Hegel's theory, the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle as well as the virtuous whisky drinker among many other subjects and really gives you a flavor for in-depth whisky culture and what drives its aficionados passion for whisky and scotch whisky in particular. Pubished in 2010 and really worth the read. The (e) in whiskey in the title is not my idea but the editors. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
