Greenore came from Cooley and there was a 8, 15 and 18 year old which were all ok single grain whiskeys, I cant comment on this Greenore 1990 single cask as it appears to have been sold only in Dublin airport.
I does seem that the new Cooley owners decided to bottle Greenore single grain whiskey as Kilbeggan single grain whiskey which perhaps will make Greenore bottlings more collectable/valuable in the future. I have only had a taste of the Kilbeggan 8 year old and found it a little spirity it can still be found here https://www.masterofmalt.com/whiskies/kilbeggan/kilbeggan-8-year-old-single-grain-whiskey/ |

Thanks for the info.......Yes I think Jim Beam own Cooley now. Found Geenore to be a very gentle whiskey that beginners usually like. |
