Benromach has marked its 20th Anniversary since resuming production with a limited edition 1998 vintage Benromach 20th Anniversary Bottling. The 1998 vintage whisky has been bottled at cask strength 56.2% ABV, it is naturally coloured and is non chill-filtered.

I would like to taste this also but £300 for a twenty year is not value, who decides what the RRP is?

It is always the whisky companies that set the recommended price, its up to the retailer what they sell it for. TBH I wouldn't have expected such a bottling to be much less than this in todays marketplace, sadly that's the price of whisky now. I wouldn't mind tasting this also but will probably stick to the Benromach 15 at £50 a go but good luck to those who have the spare cash to buy and open the Benromach 20th anniversary bottle, I hope its a good one.
