Ian MacLeod Distillers have just unveiled a new look for their popular smoky mystery Islay single malt whisky Smokehead and the distiller has also revealed an intense new expression which they tell me is not for the faint hearted: Smokehead High Voltage.

| I still have never been able to place Smokehead, it does have an Ardbegishness about it but I doubt Ardbeg give their whisky away to independent bottlers. More likely a peated Bunnahabhain but we will never know. the new Smokehead High Voltage could be interesting. |
