Gordon & MacPhail has released the second release of four single casks which will join the very rare ‘Private Collection’ range. This time they have released a Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection Linkwood 1956, a single cask whisky which is thought to be the last remaining single cask of Linkwood from the 1950s.



Even after 60 years in the first fill Sherry hogshead cask it has been bottled at a very impressive 49.4% ABV, it must have had some tight grains in the wood to retain this strength after all these years.

As you can imagine you will need deep pockets for this one, only 53 bottles will be available priced at £22,000
