Just had a brochure through the post. £6000 for a cask and a bottle from cask 1, they also guarantee that no other sales of casks will be made for at least 10 years.
So going by that just over 300 casks will be sold.
So tempted to find the money for this but I know it would end in divorce _________________ Putting the func in dysfunctional. |

I got that through the post yesterday. I couldn't find what the limit was on the number of casks, but even if it's 300, that's A LOT of bottles.
I'm a big fan of Arran but I think £6,000 is taking the Michael a bit. Especially on what amounts to a bit of a "punt" |

To be fair the 300 was just a bit of ropey maths on my part. It works out at about £40 per bottle which isn't that insane if you have friends that will buy some of your cask.
Notice they have really bumped up the arran cask prices as well £2250 for bourbon and £2950 for sherry and peated either not for sale or not being produced. _________________ Putting the func in dysfunctional. |
