Hi,
I have recently been given a small bottle of Suntory Whisky but I am unable to find out anything about it as the one have says it was established 1899.
Where as all the ones I can find on the internet say est.1937
Does anyone have information on this type of whisky or any kind of valuation ?

Hi Tuffin,
Suntory was founded in 1899, however the square shaped bottle blend (kakubin) that you've seen with 1937 on the label was originally released in 1937. Info on their website here:

They have done a couple of anniversary bottlings with the date 1899 on them that I know of. And most of the bottles up to the 1980's had 1899 on the label. My thoughts are that this is from the 80s. Regarding value, my feeling is 'not a lot'. £20? Here's a similar version.
