I recently was given a bottle of Haig and Haig which is labeled as a 12-year-old and 86.8 Proof. Interestingly the bottle is wrapped in wire. Sort of unique. I have 2 questions. The first one is product still good? There is no evaporation and it was stored upright and behind a bar. The 2nd question is how old might this bottle be? Thanks in advance for any help someone might provide. _________________ Ronald Russo |

| If the seal looks good and the whisky does not look cloudy or contaminated I think it should still be good, whisky does not go off if it has been stored in a bottle with a good seal. It sounds like an old bottle with the wire wrap on it, perhaps someone else here will be able to age it for you. What is the bottle size |
