I agree with Ralfy, get a 35cl bottle of new stuff and its an economic way to compare the product over a period of time.

Once bottled there shouldn't be any aging of the whisky, only degradation if not stored properly.
So the bottle shouldn't really increase in value save someone with some esoteric interest in a slightly old bottle of GM. |
