The Clydeside Distillery on the banks of the River Clyde opened its doors to the public for the first time today. The new distillery is located on the site formerly known as The Queen’s Dock in the heart of Glasgow.
The Clydeside Distillery is owned by Morrison Glasgow Distillers Ltd, who's Chairman, Tim Morrison is the great grandson of John Morrison, who originally built The Queen’s Dock in 1877. Tim, formerly of Morrison Bowmore Distillers is current proprietor of the AD Rattray Scotch Whisky Company.

| Could be an interesting way to kill a couple of hours next time I take my wife shopping in Glasgow city centre, I doubt she would miss me. |
