Glendronach
15 year old Revival
70cl / 46% "Whisky of the Year 2015" by The Whisky Exchange
This expression has garnered cult status.
There is a lot of debate about the true age of GlenDronach’s releases. Scotch whisky labeling requires that the age statement reflect the age of the youngest whisky in the bottle. This means that a 10 Year Old contains whisky that is at least 10 years old. The Glendronach distillery was shut between 1996 and 2002 meaning that any whisky made post 2002 is only 13 years old in 2015. That means that all the spirit in the 15 Year old was actually distilled prior to the mothballing in 1996, making it at least 19 years old!
Market Value as of October 2017 is £200
