| Hi guys. I'm looking to buy a whiskey however I'm struggling to choose. My budget is around £50. I've got a bottle of Edradour, Ardbeg ugieadail, Arran malt, powers 12, Noahs mill and fettercairn fior. I'm thinking about trying something a bit different to these whiskies. Any help will be much appreciated as I'm very indecisive. |

| At that price range and for something a bit different I'd consider a single cask Glendronach which is bottled at cask strength too. A sherried juggernaut. At the other end of the scale if you want a peaty, smokey number Lagavulin 16 ticks that box. If you want something light and balanced, a Aultmore 12 is a good shout. If you fancy a blend - Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 consistently gets brilliant reviews. |

Thanks for the suggestions. I've been looking at the glendronachs for quite some time but have been undecided about them. I tried then 12 not so long ago and wasn't sure if I liked it or not. I'll have a look at the cask strength. Aultmore has been on my list for some time too. I'm really enjoying my Ardbeg at the moment. |

Aberlour A'Bunadh is inside that budget and a fantastic whisky if you want to try a sherried one. It's ok most supermarkets too.
If you want something totally different you can pick up a Balblair 2005 (bottled 2017) for around £45. - don't judge it on its colour!! _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

Is there actually a single cask Glendronach for that price? I thought the cheapest were in the £70-80 mark. |

| It's cask strength, sure, but not a single cask. |

| You're right. It's been a long week. I'd still recommend a cask strength Glendronach. |

| If you are anywhere near a Cadenhead shop or like the look pf any of the Boutique-y whiskies, those would be my recommendations. |
