I was in Belfast the other week and found this interesting little place, Bittles Bar, on the corner of Upper Church Lane and Victoria Street, on the water front side of Victoria Square shopping centre, just by the Jaffe fountain.
They have a very impressive selection of Irish whiskies, including plenty of Midleton Very Rare, Barry Crockett Legacy and other higher-end bottles alongside a full range of Jameson, Powers and beyond. Good atmosphere and an interesting space with lots of curious paintings to ponder too.
Prices were not insignificant, but I have little idea what the going rate is for relatively unusual whiskies in pubs/bars. Definitely worth a look anyway.
