The plan is to buy two of these, all similarly priced above my usual price-point. I like each company's products in general. Any tips as to which of these will be a significant upgrade over the lower-tiered products of the same company?

Bowmore 18
Dalmore Cigar Malt
Talisker 18
Oban Distillers Edition 2000-2015
Lismore 18

Without a doubt I would go for the Talisker 18, and if I were to choose one from the other 4 it would be the Oban

Talisker 18 stands out for me and Bowmore 18 Deep & Complex which was first available in travel retail, you can now find it in Master of Malt https://www.masterofmalt.com/whiskies/bowmore/bowmore-18-year-old-deep-and-complex-whisky/?srh=1
